Listen, it’s hard propelling a new registered political party. There’s a lot of stuff to remember and a to-do inventory the length of your limb.
But, if there’s one thing that should be somewhat high up on that roster, it’s claiming the. com realm.
Oops-a-daisy, was like Nigel Farage forgot to complete this rather crucial step on his to-do list where reference is launched his new Brexit Party — a brand-new Eurosceptic, pro-Leave registered political party.
Unfortunately for ex-UKIP supervisor Farage, a pro-Remain group has claimed the domain thebrexitparty.com, and it’s expending the website to send a content that departs from the brand-new party’s proclamation.
Here’s what you’ll see if you go to the website 😛 TAGEND
Richard from Led By Donkeys the pro-Remain group behind the domain debacle told Mashable why the group chose to buy up the domain.
“When we recognized he’d neglected to register the domain for his new party we thought we’d have a bit of merriment, ” Richard continued. “But there’s also a serious content. We need to vote in the European elections because every vote for another party is a vote against Farage.”
At a launch occurrence in Coventry, UK, Farage said the European elections are the “first step” for the brand-new defendant. The UK is expected to hold European Parliament polls at the end of May after Prime Minister Theresa May obtained a Brexit delay until Oct. 31. European elections come about so voters in EU member states can elect MEPs, or Members of the European parliament elections.
Looks like Farage might have found a workaround for his subject trouble. Since the. com address is taken, the Brexit Party has opted for a .org URL .
